Creativity and joy often stem from embracing the very things that make us different. In these precarious times, it’s easy to feel like our differences set us apart in challenging ways. But the truth is, those differences are our superpowers - they shape our unique perspectives, inspire our creativity, and allow us to make the world more beautiful through our presence and contributions. For Queer people, living authentically is an act of creativity in itself. Each time we show up, whether through art, work, or simply being visible, we wear our “imaginary capes” and remind the world that it’s brighter and richer because we’re in it.
