Very Personal Post
"Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do."
This quote is the foundation of my life. Joyful Queer exists because I chose to embrace this as my mantra. I experience chronic pain and fatigue every single day as a result of surviving two head-on collision, one bodily encounter with the hood of a car ploughing into me as I crossed a street in my neighborhood, and living with an auto-immune disease. There are a lot of things that I used to be able to do that I no longer can. While I am not happy about that, there are many things that I still can do and have learned to do that have brought me to this very place, writing and producing Joyful Queer. This has been an enormous gift for me, and I hope it brings value, connection, and joy to many others.
