Resilience Through Identity
“Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.”

Resilience is about reclaiming the power to define our lives, no matter what challenges or political shifts come our way. In times when the world feels uncertain, and the rights and identities of marginalized communities like ours are under scrutiny, the importance of self-definition becomes even clearer. No leader, system, or ideology should dictate who we are or what we stand for. Being a Joyful Queer means rejecting imposed definitions and living boldly on our terms. In defining ourselves, we claim our power, build resilience, and create joy, even in difficult times.
