Recognizing the Moment
"Happiness has to do with reason, and only reason earns it. What I was given was the thing you can't earn, and can't keep, and often don't even recognize at the time; I mean joy."

Happiness can feel like a destination we work toward, but joy is different - it sneaks up on us in moments of pure authenticity. Joy often arrives when we least expect it: in the laughter of chosen family, the freedom of self-expression, or the quiet realization that we’re enough just as we are. These fleeting moments remind us of the beauty in simply being. Being a Joyful Queer means embracing these flashes of joy whenever they find us.
