Queer Joy is the Goal!
"Joy, rather than happiness, is the goal of life, for joy is the emotion which accompanies our fulfilling our natures as human beings. It is based on the experience of one's identity as a being of worth and dignity."

For Queer people and our allies, joy is a radical affirmation of our worth and dignity in a world that often challenges our very existence. Joy means embracing our identity, living authentically, and finding fulfillment in being true to ourselves. But joy is more than a feeling—it is a powerful act of resistance. Oppressors thrive on our despair, and our joy in the face of their hate frustrates and disempowers them. To sustain this revolutionary joy, we must cultivate resilience, nurture creativity, and deepen our connection—to ourselves, to each other, and to the vast richness of the world through art, science, and shared humanity.
