It's The Grain of Sand
“It isn't the mountain ahead that wears you out; it's the grain of sand in your shoe."

As Queers & Allies, the big challenges—like fighting for equality—can feel monumental, but it's often the small, everyday struggles that drain us most. Microaggressions, dismissive comments, or the constant need to explain ourselves can chip away at our joy. Cultivating joy means addressing those grains of sand: setting boundaries, practicing self-care, and finding spaces where we feel celebrated, not just tolerated. Small acts of care make the journey lighter and more joyful.
